As part of efforts to enhance educational activities and strengthen the quality assurance system, our faculty members held a series of meetings with our students on April 21–22, 2025. During these meetings, students' experiences, expectations, and suggestions regarding educational processes were heard, and feedback on the department's current practices was collected.
The meetings focused on several key areas, including the relevance and scope of course content, accessibility of course materials, transparency of examination and assessment methods, and the effectiveness of academic advising processes. Students’ views on the academic, social, and administrative functioning of the department were also gathered, and overall satisfaction levels were assessed.
Within the framework of the quality assurance system, students’ suggestions served as a foundation for planning concrete improvement actions, such as updating course plans, increasing the number of practical activities, promoting participation in scientific events, and diversifying student-centered initiatives.
Moreover, during the meetings, the importance of active student participation in the department's activities aligned with the University's 2025–2029 Strategic Plan and Quality Assurance System goals was emphasized. Students were seen not only as participants in the educational process but also as active stakeholders whose input is vital to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning services.
Through these meetings, an important step was taken to further strengthen the approach of continuous improvement based on student feedback, reaffirming our department’s commitment to quality-oriented education. We sincerely thank our students for their active participation and valuable contributions and look forward to building a stronger academic future together.
